Chegg, an education technology company, seeks to learn more about the experiences of tutors by observing them as they work individually with students.
We are looking for bay area tutors willing to have 1-2 researchers present while you tutor a student. The researchers will not interfere with your lesson, but simply be a "fly on the wall" and observe how you tutor. The researchers’ visit will also involve an informal interview after the lesson.
Visits will take place wherever you normally tutor.
Tutors who are able to help will receive a $75 gift card per hour of the visit, including time spent teaching a lesson. Visits are likely to take roughly 2 hours, for a total of $150. We will also give a $50 gift card to your student.
