Stanford Introductory Studies (Thinking Matters, Introductory Seminars) is seeking a student worker to assist with various programmatic needs. Work hours would be scheduled between 8:30 AM and 5:00 PM, with occasional evening work opportunities for events.

Student Technical Worker responsibilities include:
• Photograph and video record various events and archive media (photographs, video) to support websites and program publicity, including some image editing and uploading.
• Provide some limited tech support for classes and events, including setting up laptop projection and video recording devices.
• Help design posters and flyers for classes and events.
• Perform selected office duties, such as photocopying, posting flyers, creating documents, and similar tasks.
• Assist with website updates.


Qualifications: The successful applicant will have experience building/maintaining websites, taking photographs and shooting video, including some editing experience, and working with social media and/or social media marketing. They will be reliable, detail-oriented, thorough, friendly, and helpful. They will take ownership of assigned tasks, complete them quickly and accurately, and communicate clearly and effectively with staff.

Experience:
- Experience with set-up and support of computer systems (PC and Mac).
- Experience with photography and videography. Experience using a DSLR camera preferred.
- Experience with iMovie, Final Cut Pro or similar video editing programs.
- Comfort with audio setup.
- Preferred: Website development skills (i.e., HTML, Drupal).
- Preferred: Some experience with graphic design.
