I'm overweight. I'm a 29-year-old grad student who's had some trouble losing weight, and it's because food fits so many roles - therapist, teacher, and soul mate. I need help to break bad habits, like eating junk food three to four times a week and not drinking enough water.

You:
Maybe you're bored. Maybe you have a lot of time on your hands. Maybe you're looking to lose weight too and you're also looking for someone to keep you accountable. You're willing to text back and forth on WhatsApp with a stranger.

We don't have to meet in person. I don't really care about whether we do or not. I do need someone to encourage me to make better choices without making me feel like a failure when I falter. (I do that to myself enough. Don't we all?) I just want someone to text with when things go well (drank 2 glasses of water before noon) and when things go poorly (just ate Jack in the Box). Sometimes it's just nice to know you can text somebody.
