I'm a Stanford postdoc with experience tutoring elementary school through university-level students. My PhD work was in cognitive science, and my approach is to help students develop strategies that will lead to more efficient studying practices. For elementary and middle school students, I emphasize setting up strong study skills and organizational practices.

At a high school and university level, I work with students to develop techniques that play to their specific learning strengths (such as memorization strategies, writing practices that produce strong essays and term papers, etc.).
