About you: Are you a Stanford student who needs help with Math 19, 20, or 21 or with Math 51, 52, or 53? Do you need help with the basic ideas, or do you seek a deeper understanding of the material? Do you want helpful learning and testing strategies too? In all of these cases, I can help!
About me: I am a former university math instructor. In the past, have taught at the University of Michigan (2007-2012), the University of New Hampshire (2012-2014), and most recently at Aalto University (in Finland, but I am now back in Palo Alto) (2016). I hold a Ph.D. in Applied Math from the University of Michigan (2012). From my years of tutoring and teaching experience, I have gained extensive knowledge about the difficulties and pitfalls that can arise when college students first learn complex university-level math. I can bring clear intuition to otherwise difficult concepts, help you work through problems, give effective problem solving and communication advice for homework, and provide powerful exam-taking strategies. You will learn a lot from me! If you are interested, please contact me at ctflores@stanford.edu.
