The life of an escort in Mexico City is a very hazardous one: many are attacked on the job, robbed, raped, and even killed. Last month alone, the escorts Genesis Jaimes and Karen Ailen were brutally murdered, and to be frank, the situation in Mexico City is getting worse.

I am the manager of La Lista Negra, an app that detects incoming calls, whatsapp, and sms from blacklisted numbers. Our app was recently featured in Collective Cultura, a major online newspaper of Mexico:

As both a Stanford graduate and former Stanford instructor, I know there is no one in the world more innovative and passionate about helping the world than Stanford students.
