There are three rooms opening up in our house. Prices are $1350 for a smaller room with shared bath, $1550 for larger room with ensuite bath, and $1800 for huge master bedroom with large walk in closet + other closet, wrap around balcony with view of the bay, large bathroom.
The house is fully furnished and the bedrooms have some furnishings in them, depending on the room. There is a weekly Maid that is included in rent. Availability starts FEB 1 and is a month to month lease. If you elect to leave, you'll have to give us 30 days notice and help find a replacement.
The place is technically in Emerald Hills, not far from Emerald Hills Coffee Roasters. You will need a car to live here as the drive is up a large hill. Living on the hill you're able to escape the hustle and traffic of the peninsula.
The place is a luxurious home built into the hills west of Silicon Valley and includes a well-appointed kitchen (two dish washers, two ovens, etc), dining and entertainment rooms. The house includes all kinds of nice touches ranging from fruit trees to a wine cellar. Saying the house is spacious is an understatement. Pictures do no justics. There is also plenty of room in our two car lofted garage to store a motorcycle (we have 3!), skis, etc. It takes about ~15 mins to get to Stanford or Page Mill in Palo Alto by car.
Your would-be roommates are a mix of male and female in their mid to late 20s who work for tech companies in the valley. You will have tons of private space, but a good community. During the weeks we are very focused on work and the home is pretty quiet but when the weekend comes we often entertain or venture out to the mountains.
Other details - utilities per month are ~$100. Security deposit roughly equal to 1 month's rent.
