Dr. Rasgon, Director of the Stanford Center for Neuroscience in Women's Health, is conducting a longitudinal 3-year study on the effects of insulin resistance on accelerated cognitive aging.
Participants: men and women, ages 25-50 years, BMI 25-35, not currently diagnosed with diabetes
Appointments include blood testing for glucose and insulin levels, a blood draw for genotyping, memory testing, and a structural and functional MRI scan. We are offering up to $250 compensation for participation over the 3 years.
