The Center for Design research is conducting a study of driving in low visibility and bad weather conditions in our state of the art simulator on campus. The study is in two parts: a survey to take at home, and a simulated driving component at the Automotive Innovation Facility. The study takes about 10 minutes at home, and 30 minutes in the lab. You will receive a $20 Amazon electronic gift card for participating.
This study uses eyetracking glasses, so you cannot wear eyeglasses, but contact lenses are not a problem. Only right-handed individuals are requested to sign up for this study. If you have experienced PTSD or trauma from a car crash, be advised there is the possibility you may crash in the simulated driving environment.
To sign up for this study, follow this link to take the at-home survey. If you need to make an account you will be prompted to do so:

after completing the at-home survey, you can sign up for a time slot in the lab for the simulation study
