The Wall Lab (Stanford Pediatrics/Systems Medicine) is looking for an iOS developer to work on an exciting project which involves designing/implementing a game for kids diagnosed with autism! The video data collected through this project will then be used to train emotion classifiers specifically tailored to the task of being used in autism screening and treatment ML pipelines. You can choose to continue working on the project to gain experience in iOS development, deep learning, computer vision etc. This experience can be extremely valuable when applying to some of the top companies in the ML/Data Science industry.

This will also provide the students with a hands on opportunity to work in the health tech space in Stanford Pediatrics and work on a project that can have a significant impact in the autism community and research space.

The ideal candidate should have at least 30 hours of time per week that they can dedicate to this project, preferably to be done over the summer as a full time internship opportunity. Compensation can also be provided and it can also be taken as directed research for course units.

Required:
* Prior experience developing iOS apps with Swift
* Experience with AWS (Cognito, S3, Dynamo) or similar backend technology

Desired:
* Knowledge of adaptive UI design for phones and tablets
* Experience with phone hardware including: inertial sensors, camera
* Experience background syncing large files
* Familiarity with Android development
