Dr. Rasgon, Director of the Stanford Center for Neuroscience in Women's Health, is conducting a longitudinal 3-year study on the effects of insulin resistance on accelerated cognitive aging.
Eligibility criteria:
-men and women
-between 25 and 50 years of age
-BMI between 25 and 35
-not diagnosed with Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes
Appointments include blood testing for glucose and insulin levels, a blood draw for genotyping, memory testing, and a structural and functional MRI scan.
