The Stanford Daily is looking for a recent graduates to serve as an executive officer of the organization’s business operations.The Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) is the head of The Daily's sales strategy and its sales/marketing team. The CRO works with the Chief Operating Officer to foster The Daily’s long-term financial well-being, and advises other revenue-earning projects and teams (past and current initiatives include The Daily’s summer internship program, the University yearbook, and The Stanford Daily Magazine). The CRO establishes and realizes revenue goals through ad sales and other initiatives, performs market research, and identifies new revenue-generating opportunities. The CRO is also a member of The Daily's nine-person Board of Directors, which consists of both professionals and students.The CRO role is a 1-2 year, paid position. Past CROs have gone on to work for Google and Bain & Company, among other companies.
