Hi everyone, I am looking to rent a 2 bed/2 bath apartment between Redwood City and Mountain View starting between mid-August and September 1. I have located a couple of options, but I can't apply for them until I have someone that I'm going to room with. I would like to be able to meet interested parties ASAP to get to know them better before applying to live in these apartments, so I would only like serious, committed replies please. I would also like some help finding more options-- these places are going off the market REALLY fast, so my options are literally changing every day.

A little about me: I'm a lab technician at Stanford University and I'm 23 years old. I'm aiming to go the graduate school next year so I'm looking at places with flexible 6-10 month leases. I prefer to have a roommate that is quiet, fairly tidy with common areas, and respectful of space and noise level. I work 9-6 or 10-7 on workdays and I like to hang out with friends and/or watch Netflix. My boyfriend will visit me the occasional weekend from Northern California, and I'm okay with short-term guests as long as they don't become permanent residents or stay for long periods of time.

My budget is less than $2.0k/person a month, and please only respond if your budget is $1600 or higher, or if you are willing to pay more for a nicer place. The only reason I say that is because so far in my search (which spans over 2 weeks) I have rarely seen a 2b/2br apartment in this area (with the lease agreement I want) that goes for $1600/person a month. But if you are able to find cheaper options, please let me know as I would be up for that as well!

Let me know if you think we would be a good match! Again, serious inquiries ONLY at this point.

(On a side note, I would also be interested in studio apartments that are less than $2k a month)
