I am a recent PhD graduate in Mechanical Engineering. After a hiatus away from the Bay Area, I have taken a job in Foster City. While orchestrating a permanent relocation back to the Bay, I will be working primarily remotely, but coming to the office for a few days every other week. I am therefore looking for a place to stay Sun/Mon/Tues nights every other week, beginning January 27.
A bit about myself:
- I am extremely clean and organized. I would not be bringing more than a few changes of clothing and would not be unpacking.
- My work schedule is usually 5:00am - 5:00pm, so I would rarely be around, but I would be going to bed at around 9:00pm.
- I do not smoke, drink, take drugs, or listen to loud music. I would not have a car with me.
- I am a bit of an eco-freak: raw vegan, only natural cleaning products, etc., so lots of heavy cooking/air fresheners/etc would be hard for me to be comfortable around. But it also means that I am highly water and electricity use conscious, so I don't think I would make a big impact on utility bills.
- I love animals, so cats or a calm dog would be a plus for me.
If you would like to make a little extra money each month by letting me stay on your couch, please let me know! I am currently in the Bay area, staying with a friend, so we could meet in advance to see if it would work out.
