This posting is for a research assistant position in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Stanford University. The Sudheimer Lab is currently conducting experiments on the following topics

1) how hormones influence the brain activity patterns of people experiencing symptoms of depression.
2) how conscious and unconscious emotional information is processed in the brain
3) how secrets are encoded in the brain
4) how transcranial magnetic stimulation affects the brain in patients with depression
5) biological signatures of infection in patients post-surgery

Research Assistants will be responsible for conducting screening interviews, helping to collect and analyze neuroimaging and behavioral data.

Requirements:
1) At least 1-year experience as a research assistant
2) Introductory level (or higher) understanding of statistics and computer programing.
3) Preference will be given to applicants with A) experience in clinical psychology or psychiatry B) A working knowledge of Matlab, psychopy, and C) experience with neuroimaging data collection/analysis.
