So you wouldn't be able to tell it from the way I dress (these days) but I actually really enjoy the genres of music listed above. It kinda feels like there's a strong look-successful-and-don't-stand-out-or-be-weird culture here at Stanford and that makes it hard to identify other cool people out in public. I currently have a single friend here that is only vaguely interested in new-style EBM, but that's it. I would like to meet other people with interestingly dark tastes in music. There are a lot of awesome-looking events happening up in SF on a very regular basis and it would be cool to have other people that wanted to go with me. If this sounds like you then reply to this. Please list a few bands that you think qualify as belonging to any of the genres (or similar) above so that I can get a sense if we're really talking about the same thing.

Friends of noise and drone and (funeral) doom and experimental music and B horror / creepy movies are encouraged to contact me as well :)

Cheers!

Test Dept (It's too bad industrial doesn't mean anything specific...but this is one kind of "industrial" music)
