The Screenomics Lab at Stanford is looking for Android users to test our latest version of the app!
Your job is to install the App today (whenever you have the time), follow the on-screen instructions, and then meet us in person for 15 minutes in the following week to discuss the experience. All data collected from your phone will be deleted after your interview, and we will give you the $30 cash at that same time. The study is open to all participants who are 18 years or older and have a compatible Android device.
Please feel free to contact us at stanford.screenomics@gmail.com or via this post if you have any questions!
More information about the app: The app we’re building will later be used for research into media. It collects screenshots of the phone screen frequently and sends the screenshots to our secure server. It also collects data on which apps you are currently using. We will not use this data, and we will not examine any screenshots that your phone sends. We just need to make sure the app is collecting the data correctly, in the right format. You can check out our laboratory website at http://screenomics.stanford.edu
