I'm a master's student with a humanities and education background, and I really enjoy editing -- I've worked volunteer, freelance, and "official" company-based jobs before. Applications/statements of purpose are my specialty, but I have substantial experience with academic essays, research papers, and creative writing (novels, memoirs, poetry). I'm also happy to look at cover letters, blog posts, or any other kind of written content.

I give ample, thorough feedback on both style and content, and love talking to people about their work to make sure their voice is coming through clearly. I've worked with high school, college, and graduate students, and I feel comfortable with all sorts of disciplines. Since I enjoy reading and editing so much, I have a short turnaround rate (usually same-day) and charge lower than the going rate for freelance editing.
