Posting this for a new postdoc in my lab who doesn't have his Stanford email yet and will be arriving in August:
"I am a Stanford postdoc (30yrs, male) looking for housing starting August 1. Optimally I am looking for a room (1yr lease preferred) in a 3bd house at around $1400-$1600, but am open to a 4bd house or a 2 or 3bd apartment. I also have a friend that is a law student at Stanford (30yrs, female) who is also looking for a place to live, and am open to 2 empty rooms in a 3bd or 4bd as well.
I am quiet, clean, do not smoke, have no pets, and am quite successful at keeping normal hours (7am-11pm). I cook somewhat frequently (vegetarian) but always clean up after myself -- I would prefer a decent kitchen if at all possible. My time outside of research is spent birding, exercising either outside (hiking, biking) or at the gym (lifting or playing basketball), and/or playing boardgames (go or anything else strategic and engaging)."
