I am a 28 year old veterinarian beginning a post-doc/residency at Stanford in September 2019, looking for dog-friendly housing for at least the coming year (or longer).
I am open to a small studio/one-bedroom in-law unit or a room in a shared house with dog-savvy roommates. I am flexible on price and move-in date though would like to keep rent and utilities under $2500. Ideally I would like to live within biking distance of campus but am flexible on location as long as my commute time doesn't dramatically exceed 30ish minutes by car because I have on-call responsibilities.
I am a quiet, clean, and responsible tenant. Most of my day is spent at work, and my free time is split primarily between adventuring outdoors with my dogs and low-key home activities like studying and watching Netflix. I'm not interested in throwing parties or having lots of loud people over, but I would like a space in which I can cook and occasionally entertain a friend or two.
I have two older adult dogs that are very friendly, quiet, well-behaved (they both have AKC Canine Good Citizen titles), and up-to-date on vaccines and flea/tick/parasite prevention. They are generally good with other dogs and are friendly and polite with chill cats. Both dogs are very used to my workday routine and spend most of the day napping.
