Overwhelmed by your Stanford experience as an international in America? Looking to overcome social isolation, make new friends, and thrive in your field? Want someone who actually listens and can give you tips to feel more at home away from home?

As an international Stanford Alumni, I am very familiar with the challenges of studying in a foreign country and I help other internationals understand and successfully navigate American culture. I hold an M.A. in North American Studies from Freie Universität Berlin in Germany, and I graduated from Stanford with an M.A. in German Studies from the Division of Literatures, Cultures, and Languages.

If you would like advice on how to tackle the many challenges of living and thriving in the United States, I am here to support you on that journey. Having lived, studied, and worked in both Europe and the United States, I can tab into my experience to look at your situation from a new perspective. I am comfortable connecting with internationals from a wide range of cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds, and I am interested in empowering individuals to reach their academic and personal goals.

I am available as your private conversation partner in both English and German. As I am currently not based around Stanford, we can easily meet online over Skype or FaceTime. Please get in touch if you have any questions, inquiries about rates, or would like to discuss your needs and assess fit. -- Chris
