Si is an approximately six-year-old lilac point Siamese. He showed up at rescuer M’s home one day, friendly as could be. He loves children and cuddles, and flops onto the nearest lap purring at every opportunity. For a Siamese, Si is surprisingly quiet - beyond the occasional chirp and happy purrs (especially with belly rubs), Si is not much of a talker! Si is cautious but sits with the family dog. Without other cats in the house, we do not know how he feels about feline friends. He enjoys the freedom of being allowed to go inside and outside, as he is used to enjoying his feline autonomy! (Si was rescued from an outdoor education farm for children, and so is a determined indoor/outdoor man). Every night, however, he likes to curl up and sleep with the resident humans.

Si’s rescuer is leaving the country in October for a several month period (at least six!), and is looking for a loving foster home to care for him for 6-12 months. Si has received all his vaccines, and any medical, food and litter costs for Si would be covered! Food and litter could be delivered on a bi-weekly or monthly basis.
