The Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB) group at Stanford is seeking a research assistant to work on integration and characterization of cutting-edge microwave telescopes. The successful applicant will have opportunities to gain extensive experience in superconducting detectors/readout systems, microwave engineering and cryogenics, which will prepare them well for graduate schools or advanced research positions in many disciplines. Priorities will be given to graduating seniors in Physics, Engineering Physics, Applied Physics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautics/Astronautics, or other engineering programs who can commit 6 – 18 months, starting immediately.
