I am looking for a tutor/teacher for the incoming school year for my two kids (and maybe 1 more kid - to be discussed) - 1st grader and 3rd grader.
About you:
-Able to follow the days' assignments from the Oak Knoll teacher and encourage independent learning. The 1st grader will need more help than the 3rd grader.
-Energetic personality that can engage kids and spark their passion for learning
-Willing to add more projects or enrichment activities, singing, dancing, and general silliness is welcome.
-Estimated commitment is 3 hours a day/ 5x week but could be more or less depending on the situation and mutual agreement. Mornings are better than afternoons.
-We are open to different scenarios, the most important thing is we would like to work with someone who really enjoys teaching kids.
About us: Laid-back family, two working professionals, trying to make life more normal during the pandemic. Both kids are boys. Location is an easy bike ride from Stanford or can provide transportation. We have other childcare, so you will not be responsible for laundry, meals, or cleaning.
