Posting this on behalf of my boss. I am working at a research lab at the Stanford School of Medicine with Dr. Claudia Petritsch. Our lab is focused on brain cancer research and we are looking to hire a new lab manager/tissue processing specialist. This role would involve coordinating with the OR, collecting pediatric and adult brain tumor samples from the Stanford Hospital, and preserving/processing them for the lab. Good organization skills are necessary. Looking for some experience with general cell culture techniques, but most skills can be taught on-site. BS degree recommended and living locally would be a plus. Position could be full or part-time and lasting ~1-2 years.
