Happy Feet Daycare is diligently following all COVID-19 requirements and recommendations set by the CDC and State, including frequent disinfection of toys, playground equipment (before and after each use), and high touch areas in the classroom, toilets, and play areas. Indoor activities are moved to outdoor areas weather permitting. In short, we take prevention efforts very seriously.
- All walk-in children are screened for COVID-19 symptoms and exposure. We conduct temperature checks at the entrance.
- Nonessential visits are restricted. Admission and consultations with our director are conducted online.
- Frequent hand washing is incorporated into our daily staff protocols.
- Everyone maintains 6 feet physical distancing during drop off and pick up time.
- Mandatory staff training includes first aid, CPR, and best practices for control of respiratory infections.
- Nap time arrangements follow licensing and CDC regulations of maintaining physical distance between cots.
- Staff, parents, and visitors are required to use face masks. Face covering is encouraged for children over the age of 2 years.
- We stay up to date with the latest state and county guidelines, licensing requirements, and CDC guidelines.
