We're the Lighthouse Initiative. Our mission is to provide first generation, low income, and minority individuals with longitudinal sponsorship. By focusing on sponsorship instead of mentorship, Lighthouse allows for deeply meaningful relationships while also providing structured frameworks that result in transformational change to the individual's life. From education/job applications support, mental wellness programs, research and internship opportunities, networking opportunities, and unique curricula, Lighthouse provides individuals with the opportunity to reach their highest potential. Most importantly, we build a community around the individual that longitudinally supports them long term as they progress through their academic and professional career to become leaders in their field.

- incorporation law
- experience in building and launching nonprofits
- experience in fundraising
- being on the board of advisors for nonprofits
