Spring Foundation is a non-profit charity fund based in Silicon Valley. The initiatives of the foundation are the following: 1) support of contemporary art; 2) art training for children with autism and intellectual disabilities; and 3) artistic cultivation of young people.
Spring Foundation seeks an experienced director, based in Silicon Valley, to manage and execute all initiatives of the organization.
Responsibilities:
Conduct market research and data analysis to promote the initiatives of the foundation;
Build and nurture relationships and partnerships with relevant organizations, including but are not limited to other non-profit organizations, foundations, universities, government, news media;
Identify, communicate, and evaluate the targeted non-profit organization and/or art institutions;
Prepare relevant documents to fulfill regulatory requirements;
Travel for site visits, board meetings, and more, to oversee funded projects and advocate for the foundation;
Work closely with the board of the foundation to identify opportunities for the promotion of the initiatives of the foundation.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or above;
Fluent in Chinese and English;
2+ years experience in equivalent positions or in related fields;
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills;
Ability to independently conduct project research and write project reports;
Strong time management ability, work ethic, and the ability to handle multiple projects with efficiency and quality;
Passion for contemporary art and public welfare, shared vision of the foundation’s initiatives, open-mindedness, and demonstrated team spirit;
Volunteers or work experience related to the public welfare/NGO field preferred.
