SUMMARY OF ROLE:

At Inflammatix, we are seeking a dynamic, motivated Senior Product Marketing Manager to join the commercial team and contribute to our mission of addressing major health challenges by bringing host response diagnostic tests to market, starting with the InSepTM acute infection and sepsis test. The successful candidate will apply a deep understanding of clinical customers’ needs and adoption of new technology to the planning and execution of both upstream and downstream activities. This role reports to the VP of Marketing, and offers terrific growth opportunities for mission-driven, collaborative contributors.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support launch planning for InSep, including:

• Refining and executing a podium and publication plan with Medical Affairs
• Co-creating field and customer training materials with other functions
• Tracking and reporting launch progress, including key performance indicators
• Lead and manage downstream marketing for the US market in addition to providing global product guidance and support.
• Understanding customer needs and buying processes, including those of physicians, and lab directors
• Developing and executing a comprehensive go-to-market strategy for the US, including identifying key segments and targets
• Optimizing the marketing mix to grow sales, profit, and share
• Working closely with Sales to ensure sales execution to the marketing plan
• Implementing product training, and updating these materials on an ongoing basis
• Forecasting product demand, to ensure adequate supply
• Developing a KOL strategy and cultivating clinical champions for the product
• Collaborating with MarComm execute marketing campaigns
• Managing a marketing budget to achieve key objectives

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5+ years’ diagnostics or medical device product management, marketing and launch experience, preferably focused on selling to hospitals and/or clinics in the US
• Experience in molecular diagnostics and/or infectious disease a plus
• Bachelor’s degree with relevant advanced degree a plus
• Experience working with and successfully leading cross-functional teams
• Startup experience preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Strong verbal and written skills; ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
• Passion for clinical product marketing and representing the voice of the customer
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced, startup environment, willing to pitch in wherever needed
• Ability to travel 25%, once in-person meetings and events resume

SALARY AND CLASSIFICATION:

• Classification: Full-time position
• Location: Burlingame, CA or Remote
