About the Role

The Head of Growth will oversee business development, marketing and key stakeholder relationships with the goal to expand our client base and develop new revenue opportunities. They will be responsible for strategizing and aligning all departments and activities within the firm that have any relation to revenue generation and future-oriented growth.

Core responsibilities include identifying and delivering new revenue opportunities in our market, growing revenue from the client and COI base, managing non-client stakeholder relationships, overseeing the prospecting and sales funnel processes, and implementing a content-focused marketing and lead generation strategy. Our ideal candidate will be someone who has the strategic acumen, experience and passion to take our firm to new heights and who shares in our commitment to putting our clients and employees first.

Responsibilities

Sales & Marketing

• Develop and implement an integrated sales, marketing & communication strategy.
• Design and execute a 360-degree approach to digital marketing using channel segmentation and leveraging the latest tools and techniques.
• Identify, build and execute media strategies on high value segments focused on conversion and ROI.
• Lead the development and execution of content strategy, including but not limited to client communications, company presentation materials, blog, website and social media.
• Design, implement and manage all marketing & communications activities.
• Recruit and supervise the activities of marketing & communications personnel, such as contractors, third party vendors and other support providers.
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to support the delivery and monitoring of marketing & communications materials.
• Oversee brand excellence and consistency across all human and digital touchpoints.
• Integrate short-term and long-term growth strategies for the organization.
• Develop a deep understanding of market insights and industry trends; share client feedback with the firm to ensure services are meeting client needs and expectations.

Business Development

• Develop and implement business development strategies and processes to identify, nurture, and close new client relationships.
• Build and manage the sales pipeline and improve new revenue opportunities using a consultative sales approach.
• Conduct effective presentations on the firm’s value proposition and services to prospects and clients.
• Liase with Admin Assistant to update contact database with detailed notes, status, and prospect intelligence.
• Consistently meet revenue and other applicable business goals.

Relationships & Networking

• Network in the community and industry to develop mutually beneficial relationships and cultivate new and existing centers of influence.
• Develop personal network of contacts and professional relationships.
• Represent the firm with the highest level of integrity at industry and community events, as appropriate.
• Partner with advisors to close new business and ensure a smooth client integration process.
• Coach and support advisor efforts to generate and pursue client referrals and to expand client share of wallet.
• Coach and assist advisors with client referral strategies and provide sales expertise, where applicable.
• Work with advisors to identify new business opportunities, coordinate client integration activities, and manage prospective client service expectations.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Thorough understanding of a wide range of sales and marketing technologies.
• Successful track record with business expansion and growth; ability to consistently meet revenue and client-related goals.
• Proven success with sales and customer service.
• A deep knowledge of cross-channel marketing, native advertising, programmatic, and with the latest trends in digital advertising.
• Strong ability with data analytics.
• Understanding of how to establish and maintain excellent relationships with C-level executives, high-net worth individuals and institutional representatives of diverse background.
• Strong team player– knows how to work, lead and thrive in a collaborative work environment.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial principles.
• Organized, detail oriented and effective in building trust and confidence with stakeholders and colleagues.
• Able to demonstrate a high degree of passion and energy whilst maintaining a positive outlook.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite namely Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Education

• At minimum, Bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, marketing, communications or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in sales, business development, marketing and/or client relationship-oriented roles.
• 10+ years of experience in the financial services industry.
• Salary is commensurate with experience.
