Arts community
New community for the arts seeks founding members! Ideally this will be a community of individuals in the arts residing in Palo Alto, East Palo Alto, Mountain View, and the immediate surrounding areas. My name is Maria (she/her) and I have been living in the area for 5 years.I work on large scale portraits on canvas w acrylic paint. I am extremely interested in art history, and the humanities in general. There are a lot of ways this community could go but I am just wanting to build a community of people in the arts near me since this area has been particularly hard to create a community of artists and creatives in general. I am particularly interested in making connections with others who are similarly seeking a community. I am very interested in what we can create together by sharing knowledge, ideas, resources etc. Inclusive community values include Black Lives Matter, LGBTQ+ allyship, human rights, ACAB, abolish ICE, immigrant rights,stop hate for profit, diverse representation in the arts, etc. no age restrictions or career restrictions (emerging artists encouraged!) or really any except the community values!!! I look forward to hearing from all of you !!!
