Responsibilities:
• Perform threat modeling and determine the best approaches for addressing threats.
• Analyze and optimize security-related software across a wide range of hardware platforms.
• Optimize network throughput while also making the solution robust to changing network conditions.
• Help deploy the solution across a wide range of network configurations.
• Keep up with technology trends and promote security best practices.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong background working at different layers of the OSI network model, especially layers 2 and 3.
• Thorough knowledge of security protocols such as TLS, IPsec, ECDH, etc.
• Understanding of encryption algorithms and PKI security
• Excellent coding skills in C, C++, Java, Python, or equivalent languages
• Familiarity with routing protocols and concepts.
• Strong software architecture and development skills
• Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices for security
• Excellent communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• In-depth knowledge of OpenSSL, OpenVPN, wireguard, and other opensource network security software.
• Strong technical background with Linux
• Expertise with AWS
