The book is eight years old, but barely used. Its owner has graduated from Stanford, bought it in his first quarter here anticipating taking EE236A, and ended up not pursuing any studies in optics (not even EE236A). As a consequence, despite its age, the book itself is in very good condition, having barely been opened.

I believe this is the textbook for EE236A, but if you're an EE236A student, please check this for yourself first! A new edition may have been released since this one.
