About The Role
The Senior UX Designer for Core will collaborate with product management, engineering, sales, and clients. You’ll be responsible for the entire UX cycle: help identify user journeys, create interaction flows, build wireframes, high-fidelity UX specs / designs, create prototypes, and ensure high quality fit and finish. You’ll influence the product roadmap and ensure our app and SaaS web platform are highly usable for end users and meet their needs.
- 6+ years of design experience
- An available online portfolio is required to be considered for this role
- 6+ years of experience in UX design with SaaS products
- Rapid creation of prototypes or mock ups for demonstration and feedback
- Prioritize features for near term release and longer term strategy
- Experience designing in an agile, fast-paced environment and able to quickly iterate based on customer and team feedback
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Experience working with construction-related products is a plus!
Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master's degree in design, UX, or equivalent degree.
- Experience owning the end-to-end UX design of complex workflows and delivering design solutions for projects of large scope and complexity.
- Knowledge of research, usability principles and techniques.
- High proficiency in design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, HTML, Sketch, Figma) and experience with responsive design for web and mobile
- Worked on end-user SaaS products focused on distilling complex problems into simple, crisp, and intuitive visual solutions
- Experience working in a collaborative, diverse team, working directly with Product Managers and Engineers.
- Independent ownership of deliverables and schedule
- Demonstrated ability to juggle priorities and switch context; self-driven is a huge plus where you take initiative, follow up on open items, and understand prioritization
- Excellent communication (both oral and written) skills - you should be able to present your design, defend a design proposal, or share insights about other designs
