What You’ll Do

We are looking for a Chief of Staff to serve the CEO at an early stage Tech and Healthcare startup focused on improving the quality of life for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

You will partner with our dynamic CEO to not only provide strategic support, but also be heavily involved in creating new processes to help the company scale. The ideal candidate can effectively problem solve, execute on ideas, and plan strategically for growth that serves both our communities and our investors. What We’re Looking For

To perform well in this role you should have prior experience in a Chief of Staff role in a fast paced, tech environment, experience at a top consulting firm or equivalent leadership experience within a social venture. We are looking for an efficient problem solver that has a passion for growth, making change, and reducing inefficiencies.

Essential Functions

• Enable the CEO to amplify her impact across the organization, assisting with setting and executing company-wide objectives
• Act as a culture ambassador across the organization identifying ways to amplify our mission for inclusion both internally and externally (Examples: host disability advocate events, increase accessibility supports for employees)
• Execute on cross-functional special projects to drive top company objectives
• Be directly involved in growing the company by building and developing various business units
• Serve as interim leader for new essential functions or departments as needed as the company grows
• Manage investor relations and build identify new partnership opportunities
• Manage company prioritizations & synthesize metrics (Quarterly reviews, OKRs, KPIs, Weekly Ops, Board meetings)
• Oversee staff and internal operations (Example: create and train decision-making and communication frameworks)
• Design and drive process improvements across the organization
• Monitor financial data and recommend solutions that will improve profitability
• Lead relationships across departments to identify and remedy inefficiencies
• Support in executive recruitment processes

Your Background

• Passionate about serving the disability community and excited about creating healthcare and technology solutions
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required. MBA preferred but not required.
• Four or more (4+) years of experience including work within a startup environment and/or building a new team/division within a company preferred.
• Three or more (3+) years in a top consulting firm (Bain, McKinsey, BGC) or 3+ years as a startup founder or founding team ops member preferred.
• Extremely strong project management skills
• Ability to work autonomously and problem solve effectively
• Very sharp, resourceful, and driven

The work schedule for this position is generally Monday through Friday 9 am to 5 pm (PT) with occasional work on evenings and weekends.
