I am looking for Stanford students to play field hockey with.
The underutilization of the Stanford field hockey pitch itches me and I want to do something about it! My idea was to form a group of people who would like to practice their skills, want to try out new sports or just want some social contacts. Everyone is welcome! If there is enough enthusiasm, I wanted to start a group with funding from Stanford to buy equipment (hockey sticks, balls, etc.). To my knowledge no such groups exist, at least not for men (but if there are please hit me up).
About me: I played field hockey in a team for 12 years in my home country. I know some drills and can give tips to people who want to try out. Currently working as a VSR at Stanford and would like to meet some people on campus.
