Foodie.earth is a website that discovers trendy restaurants and offers free deliveries of their menus to Bay Area foodies. It was launched in early 2021 and went viral in the cities of Palo Alto, Los Altos, Mountain View, Sunnyvale and Santa Clara.
We're looking for a business development intern to expand our restaurant inventory. If you are interested in working for an early-stage start-up and contributing to its fast growth with your business and sales talents, please contact us today!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Identify popular/interesting restaurants to add to our offerings.
• Visit restaurants to discuss and establish creative, custom ordering workflows.
• Negotiate commissions and terms and prepare contracts with restaurant partners.
• Coordinate onboarding new restaurants with the operation team.
REQUIREMENT:
• Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A commitment to excellent partner relationships.
• Understanding of the sales process and dynamics.
