Responsibilities:
• Prepare general ledger entries as needed to ensure completeness and accuracy of the financial results in accordance with GAAP
• Meet deadlines for month-end close
• Review revenue postings to ensure appropriate and accurate recording
• Complete variance explanations for revenue accounts
• Analyze revenue trends and providing insightful conclusions
• Work closely with operations and the GL team to provide guidance and insight on reporting
Qualifications:
• Degree in Accounting required
• 2 years minimum, accounting experience
• Must be a customer service oriented, independently curious, collaborative and self-motivated
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration
• Advanced computer/Excel - VLOOKUP and pivot tables
• Period-end analysis and close activities that provided leadership with timely and reliable financial information
• Strong analytical skills to analyze, explain, and conclude on financials trends.
• Central location managing field accounting activities is preferred
• Skilled nursing healthcare experience a plus
