The nanny who works with our daughter (1yo) during the school year is looking for 20+ hours/week over the summer while my family temporarily relocates for an internship opportunity. We cannot speak highly enough of Monica, a caregiver of unparalleled talent and kindness. She has worked with children of all ages and has two grown sons herself. With our daughter, we never walk into the room but find Monica singing, dancing, playing, or chatting with our little girl. Since Monica started working with our family, our daughter has been well ahead of most developmental milestones, and we attribute that largely to the developmentally appropriate play activities and mini-exercises that she sets up for our daughter. We often come home to find meals cooked, floors vacuumed, and rooms tidied even though these are not activities within Monica's job description. (She does them while the baby is sleeping as a way of helping us out around the house.) Born in Peru and now a U.S. citizen, she is fluent in Spanish and proficient in English. We cannot speak highly enough of her.
