Hello! My name is Paul (he/they), and I'm an incoming Philosophy PhD student looking for a private room starting in September in a shared apartment, house, or cooperative living situation. I'm a 26 year old man who was born and raised in the East Bay, and I'm really excited to move back! When I'm not reading and writing, I love cooking -- big breakfasts, baking bread, and cooking Greek food -- exercising, and being politically involved in local (left-wing) grassroots efforts. I'm hoping to do a lot of hiking on local trails, biking in nearby areas, and go camping along the coast occasionally.
While I'm pretty laid back as far as living with others goes, I care about keeping common areas fairly clean, and I'm happy to divide household responsibilities equally. Non-smoker, but I don't care if you smoke outside! I don't drink much these days but I like going out for drinks occasionally. Seeking like-minded roommates, I'm hoping to stay on a lease for at least a year, potentially longer.
My budget is around $1000-1300, but I can potentially go higher for the right space. The room must be able to fit a desk, a full sized bed, and a side table or two. Please email me if you have any leads!
