Hi potential Spoken English tutors, I am a non-native English speaker and now a postdoc at Stanford. I moved here in the middle of the pandemic and lacked opportunities to talk to people and improve my English speaking skills. I have learned English for almost 17 years in school but was never fluent in spoken English, as it was taught for the purpose of passing exams.

I am looking for a 1:1 English tutor at a reasonable price - I have not had any tutors here before so I am open to your thoughts. I am easygoing, sometimes a bit shy but can be talksome with a little more interaction. I have a very strong motivation to learn English and follow your guidance.
