I accidentally pulled the space key off of my mac and now I can't get it back on. There is no water damage or anything but I need help fixing it. I purchased a replacement key and also a replacement whole keypad (but then realized that you have to go through the back to put that in and I don't have the confidence to do that! If anyone knows how to do this, please reach out and let me know what you would charge also. It doesn't have to be perfect, just has to work!!!
I think these are the instructions to replace the whole thing, and it might be easier if you just replace the space key alone.
