Hi! I live about 30 minutes away from campus, in a spectacularly beautiful, quiet spot in the Kings Mountain community. I'm looking for a dog/house sitter who might be interested in occasional overnight stays at my house so that I can sneak out of town. (I'm especially looking for someone who might be free over Thanksgiving, but if that isn't available to you, I'd still love to talk!)
I am mom to two middle-aged dogs, one a husky/shepherd mix, and another a pit mix. Both are shelter rescues who have never met a person they didn't like. They're pretty low-key--the pit is especially a big couch potato and snuggle-buddy.
My house is set adjacent to Purisima Creek Open Space, with hiking trails and an expansive view of Half Moon Bay just a few hundred feet from my front door. For someone who likes forests, hiking, and solitude, it's a great respite from the usual day-to-day grind.
