We are Stanford alums in Redwood City (about 5.5 miles from campus) looking for an energetic, responsible, and fun grad or undergrad student to help wrangle our two gremlins (4 and 7.5 year old daughters) after school (~4:15-6:45pm) a few days a week every other week or even every week.
Starting soon one parent’s work schedule will include traveling 2-3 days a week every two weeks so during that time the other will need help (but we are open to a few days every week). This would involve picking the girls up at their respective schools (within 2 miles of each other, all within a few mile radius of our home), bringing them home, hanging out (they love arts and crafts, sports, and also are fine with relaxing after school with some screen time), playing with our puppy, and getting dinner started (already prepped, just put in oven).
You should have a valid driver's license, car, clean driving record, references, and positive energy. You should also understand and enjoy kids (and puppies)! Pay will depend on experience and fit and will include gas reimbursement for the school pickups. Open to evenings/weekends but our more pressing need is the after school help.
