Hi!
I am a responsible, organized, and active healthcare professional at Stanford available to petsit and house sit over Thanksgiving break as well as the holidays beginning December 27. I have a few regular families that I dog/house sit for in the Palo Alto area and am happy to provide references, if interested.
**As I will be working from home during Thanksgiving break but will need to go into the hospital intermittently, I am only accepting jobs that are in the downtown Palo Alto area or immediately surrounding Stanford’s campus (eg Professorville).**
I really miss having a dog, as I had a dog for 14 years growing up and was the main caretaker for her, but unfortunately my current apartment does not allow pets. I am extremely neat, conscientious, and punctual and understand how hard it can be to be away from your pet and how important it is to get photos and videos of your pet while you are away.
I am super active and love walking the Dish at Stanford with dogs or going on hikes (if they are up for it!) with your dog! I am also able to run with your dog(s) if that’s something they would enjoy(7:30-8 mile pace). This is the perfect opportunity for athletic, energetic dogs! I have experience training dogs to run alongside me and am currently training for a triathlon.
Please note that I expect to meet you and your dog prior to the house sitting experience so that he/she knows me and to learn all the necessary details to take the best care of your dog possible.
