I am looking to sublease my room in a 3bd/2ba house in Menlo Park (15-min bike ride to main quad on campus).
It is the master bedroom, with ensuite bathroom and a bay window to enjoy the sunny California weather. Fully furnished with a queen bed, side tables, desk + office chair, bookshelf, and two dressers inside the walk-in closet. I can include a portable A/C but we would need to establish some ground rules on how the electricity bill would be divided with the other housemates.
House kitchen is fully equiped with ample room for meal prep and a large dining table. Large furnished living room with a TV is also shared with the other housemates. The house has a large backyard with a BBQ for the nicer summer days and a workout area. Housemates are sociable and enjoy a chat every now and then in the common areas, but no parties are allowed in the house.
Monthly rent of $1400 does not include utilities (around $150 per person per month on average).
Security deposit of $500 required, since we just renovated a lot of the furniture.
Available from mid-June to mid-September (somewhat flexible).
