Are you or anyone you know looking for a room in Palo Alto this summer? My coop in Palo Alto is looking for folks to sublet. It’s a wonderful, fun community that’s been around for over a decade.
We are looking for people to sublet during the summer of 2023, and possibly longer (dates flexible).
We are an intentional community of about 20 people in their 20s and 30s. We take turns to prepare vegetarian dinner 5 times a week, share stories, skills, chores and laughter with each other, and do many activities together like playing board games, making music, dancing, hiking, playing spike ball, picking fruits, wood working (we have a wood shop in our back yard), going on bike rides and much more.
The coop is spread over two lovely houses that share a courtyard, with spacious common rooms and with live oak trees shading our back yard. We are right by Stanford campus and Town and Country shopping plaza, 10-15min walk or 4min bike ride from downtown Palo Alto and the Caltrain.
This room is $1,050 per month, 152sq ft. Others may be available and range from ~$800-1200. Shared food (we buy enough food to eat all meals at home) and utilities come out to around $300 on the high months, usually less.
We also have gigabit internet and the best cat (really!), though he's mostly outside and comes inside mainly just to one person's room. So cat allergies should not be a problem, especially since the coop is over two houses.
