I am spending the summer away from San Francisco and taking a break from work, and am looking for a responsible individual to sublet my bedroom in our 3 bed/2 bath furnished house in Hayes Valley.
The room is available from July 9 (can flex up to a week earlier or later if needed), for either a 3-4 month subletter (who could then renew the lease on a month-to-month basis starting November), with a minimum of one month (from July until mid August).
The room is a good size and fully furnished with full size bed, couch, dresser, nightstands (closet in the hallway). The house has a washer and dryer, central heating/AC, a large backyard patio, and furnished kitchen, dining & living room with high ceilings.
The location is both central, cozy and safe. It's on Page Street, a "slow street" with minimal traffic, and walking distance to Hayes Valley restaurants/shops, Lower Haight, Castro, Japantown, and numerous transit options (bike/bus/tram/underground).
Rent is $1500/month, plus ~$60/month for utilities + wifi.
Ideal stay is July 9 through October, with an option to extend; minimum stay is 1 month (through mid-August)
You would be living with two 25 year old male software engineers. One goes to the office every day and the other works a hybrid schedule and actively helps keep the house clean. Both are happy to keep to themselves but also catch up downstairs and share any common interests.
