I’m Mery Díez-Ortega and I will be starting a new position as a Spanish Lecturer in the Stanford Language Center this fall. I currently live in Washington and I am planning to move to the Bay Area in August or early September. I am looking for a 1br or studio apartment, with a balcony/patio or similar. I am open to live near campus (and commute by bike or public transport), and also walking distance of a CALTRAIN station between Palo Alto and Burlingame. It would be me and my 10-year old lab mix, Mochi, who’s always been an indoor pet, and is housebroken. He chills when I’m not home, and he really loves humans.

I received my PhD in Second Language Studies from the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa, where I also did my MAs and taught there, being in Hawai'i for about 10 years.
