Lyman 2B1B (this sublease is for one room only) on the 1st floor, carpet flooring, has good natural light. The building (and particularly my room facing West) is much cooler than the outside temperature, thus making AC unnecessary even when it's 95°F/35°C. Lyman is only a 5-minute bike ride to the quad, a 3-minute walk to the shuttle station, and particularly close to the science quad and the med school. It is very quiet with a lounge, a video game room, and a study/computer room in the public area. The apartment and my room are clean and furnished.
The available rental period would be August 19th to September 24th, but I am flexible if you only want a portion of that (the price would be the corresponding fraction). The apartment comes fully furnished, with clean cookware, sofas, a dining area, a microwave, a refrigerator, a rice cooker. There are a Twin-XL bed, a standing desk, a task chair, and a 4k monitor in my room, which you can use. See photos for more details. I can also lend you my bike for +$50 on the deposit. Your roommate would be a male Ph.D. student, who has a regular schedule and is very quiet.
Rent: $1503 for the full period (or a corresponding fraction if renting for a portion of that), the same as the Stanford monthly rate (you get five days extra!). Utilities are included. The laundry is just outside of the building and is free of charge.
